About Carla Cackowski

Originally from the heart of Kentucky, Carla Cackowski is a comedic force to be reckoned with. With a knack for collecting apartment leases and crafting witty scripts, she's made her mark in Ft. Lauderdale, Chicago, Portland, and finally, the City of Angels. Carla's written for some of your favorite kids' shows on DreamWorks Television, PBS Kids, and Nickelodeon. She was also a semi-finalist for NBC's Writers On the Verge, so she's kind of a big deal.

Her sharp wit and satirical flair shine through in her work, from the side-splitting "HELL COUNTY, FLORIDA" (produced by The Second City Hollywood) to her published comedic monologues. Carla's words have graced comedy podcasts on Wondery Media and Forever Dog Network, and she's currently brewing up an animated series with a mysterious production company (she's sworn to secrecy). When she's not busy being a comedy genius, Carla is a firm believer in the power of naps.
