2024 Sarasota Improv FestivalLOSPLEIMOVIL (Chile) was created in 2000 under the direction of actor and director Claudio Espinoza, along with actress and theater pedagogue Lissette Villegas, with the intention of promoting and researching stage improvisation, a genre that had not been showcased as a final artistic event by any professional theater company in the country until then. Thus, they became the pioneers of improv in Chile. Each show has a wide range of styles, from improvised games to full-length stories

Our offerings allow you to learn from the experts with intimate trainings led by Festival artists from across the country and around the world. Featuring workshops in a wide range of improvisational styles and techniques, there is something for improvisers of all experience levels at the 2024 Sarasota Improv Festival. All workshops take place Saturday, July 13.
